A 4 page menu / mailer from the FLAME Show Bar, The Most Beautiful Black & Tan in Mid West. Was located  on John R in Detroit Michigan. Has not been mailed. Measures about 10" x 8" when open.  Due to the size limitations of my scanner, the entire menu may not show in some of the scans.  One of the Hot Spots of JAZZ . Opened in 1949 and closed in 1963, Performers includes Billie Holiday, Billy Wright,  Lavern Baker, Al Hibbler, Joni James, Ray Charles, Mabel Scott, T-Bone Walker, Savannah Churchill, Della Reese, Roy Hamilton, Anita O'Day, Etta James, Erskine Hawkins, Dinah Washington, Billy Williams , Guitar Slim, B B King, Bo Diddley, Jackie Wilson, Sam Cooke, and many more. A piece of Music History.
in good condition with wear, discoloration and small fold tear.
