    Description

    This is an ORIGINAL/FIRST print poster (approx. 14" x 21", and printed prior to the shows) that was used to promote a series of shows during the heyday of the historic Fillmore West in San Francisco. These shows took place September 26-28, 1968, and featured the Super Session (Mike Bloomfield, Al Kooper & Friends), It's A Beautiful Day & Loading Zone. The intensely psychedelic sixties image that adorns this poster was designed by Lee Conklin, and is the 138th image in the Bill Graham Fillmore series (the combination of psychedelia and acid influence that Lee came up with make him one of the most popular Fillmore artists amongst MANY collectors...and for good reason, as he is extremely unique in his style). This beautiful poster has been very carefully preserved for over fifty years, and remains in EXCELLENT/FLAWLESS condition, and would frame BEAUTIFULLY. One of the psychedelic gems from the Fillmore.....in TOP shape. This is guaranteed to be ORIGINAL Fillmore poster, and we will gladly issue a COA upon request.
