This Auction is for a single Morgantown 7663 Emily 7 ounce low sherbet It is 4 1/4 inches tall and holds 7 ounces.
There are 4 available. It was made in the early 30's. They are being sold each. The more you buy, the more you save on each stem.
If you put 1 in the quantity box it will be the most you can pay for this stem. If you put 2 in the quantity box it will be discounted for both stems at 10% off on each stem. If you place 3 in the quantity box each stem will be discounted at 15% off per stem. If you put 4,
or more
in the quantity box it will be discounted at the maximum of 25 % off each on each stem you want.
The Emily line was discovered a few years back and documented in the Old Morgantown Glass Club's Newsletter called the Topics. It can be found on page 19 Vol. XVII #2. Emily was created using two different Morgantown stem lines. They used the bowl shape of the 7690 Monroe and paired it with the 7662 Majesty stem to form the new stem, Emily.
I find no chips cracks or repairs to these lovely examples of American Glass Craftsmanship. Please see the above photos as they are part of the description and condition report.
The last picture is all of the Emily stem shapes I have found so far and they are being offered in various auctions by their shape.
There are 3 footed tumblers sizes in the 5th and 6th picture. The tallest 12 oz. footed tumbler, then the middle size, is a 5 ounce Juice and then the smallest, is a 2 ounce wine. The Each will have a separate auction. The final picture shows all the Emily shapes to be offered in various individual auctions based on shape.
