Description

Designed specifically for the geometry of the Ski-Doo medium width front end found with the Freeride, this armor will bolt right up to the chassis offering both flotation and protection at a cost that is less than an a-arm replacement.
It took us some time trying various ways to protect our A-Arms from Rocks, Stumps, Ice Chunks, Fence Posts and other things lurking under the snow. This simple addition adds armor to help protect against the unseen by lifting you’re a-arm over the obstacle vs hitting dead center. Easy to put on and take off, gives you the freedom to make the decision in early spring and fall to add a little protection.   In addition to allowing you to better glide over obstacles, a deflection angle has been added to help keep your sled above the snow in both forward and reverse. This additional flotation is unmatched in deep snow giving you piece of mind not only in the protection if you do hit something but to help reduce the drag and keep the sled above the danger.
Single handedly, we feel this is one of the best added pieces of hardware to help protect your sled if you’re in the mountains or banging ditches.
Rubber/Stainless aircraft straps attach the plates to the a-arms giving rigidity as needed and offering enough flexibility to help protect you’re a-arms even if they are not 100% straight to start.

Note- This listing is for a Freeride with the stance of 38/40", In the Gen4 chassis, Ski-Doo offers a 36" and a 38" option -- please make sure you select the correct one for your model.   If you have the 36" Freeride / Summit front end, please order the 36" summit kit to match your machine.
NOTE: This listing is for an BackCountry or Freeride XP/XS/XM Chassis 38/40" Front end.
