The Morgantown Glass Company produced the Sunrise Medallion pattern from 1902 to the 1939. This is a very elegant etching that features a dancing lady inside a medallion playing a flute. It is also one of the 104 patterns that are featured in our 4th Edition book by Debbie & Randy Coe called
”Elegant Glass; Early, Depression and Beyond”
©2013 on page 226. Please see our other eBay listings for a signed copy of this book along with elegant glassware.
The set of plates is in good used condition with
no
chips, cracks or discolorations. There are some minor scratches from years of normal use. There are typical wavy lines that occurred during the manufacture process. These are normal features of the production of handmade glass. We are a nonsmoking home/shop and there are no odors on this piece.
eBay now has started to collect sales tax from some states. We have nothing to do with it. Buyers are responsible for checking eBay policy on sales tax. eBay will be adding more states to the collection list in the future. Any questions on sales tax would be to eBay and not us.
